Winegrape History

Our family has a long-standing tradition of producing premium quality wine grapes that are highly sought after by winemakers throughout the region. By the 1910’s winegrapes became the dominant crop of the Ranch and at one time, there were over 47 varieties grown here.

As we look to the future, we remain dedicated to continuing our legacy of producing exceptional winegrapes while preserving the natural beauty and resources of our land.

The Homestead

The Ranch Homestead was established in 1882 with the purchase of the land south of the S.P. Railroad line. All the buildings on the ranch have been built by our family and still stand to this day. Constructed of solid redwood and painted with the same paint used by the Southern Pacific Railroad Company.

These buildings reflect our family's commitment and determination to quality and craftsmanship.
